Probably the most sustainable brand of the moment. It was founded in 2001 by Stella McCartney, the daughter of Paul McCartney from The Beatles. Becoming a designer, Stella sought to create fashion with the least impact on the environment. She is now experimenting with alternative materials, growing leather from mushrooms and creating fabrics from recycled ocean plastic. The clothes are crafted in compliance with the principles of sustainability that Stella herself pioneered 20 years ago.
